Contoh Recount Text Posted on April 3, 2014 by ruruth December Holidays Last holiday, my sister and I had a great holiday in my grandparent’s village. The name of the village is Dewi village. I was very happy over there because I could meet all my family. My grandfather has a dog, his dog’s name is Pino. He is very cute, so I played with him everytime. In the morning after I got up, I cleaned the floor and cooked with my sister. And don’t you know! Our cooking was very delicious. Sweet, salty, spicy, and sour all mixed become one. After cooking, I took a bath, then played with my sister and my cousin. We played monopoly and the winner was….. Can you guess ? Oh no… I am ashamed. My cousin, named Filo, who was 6 years old, was the winner. Tikhe, Gita, Nando and I had lost. In the afternoon at 3pm, I went fishing in the pond beside my uncle’s house. My sister Tikhe caught a catfish, my cousin Filo caught “menther”, and Nando caught “kathing”. Poor me and Gita couldn’t catch any fish. On New Years’s Eve, we prepared fireworks and helium ballons. It was very interesting, because last year I celebrated it with only my father, mother and sister. However, this time, I could celebrate it will all my family. That was a special moment for me. At midnight, the turn of the year, we ignited the fireworks, and the sky became very beautiful. We went to sleep at 2am. On the 2nd of January, I went home.
